- Description: The Air Jordan XVII was Michael Jordan’s first shoes when he returned to the court as a member of the Washington Wizards. Designed by Wilson Smith III, the XVII featured a TPU heel stabilizer, Tuned Air and a hidden quick-lace system. The removable midfoot cover gave the shoe a futuristic look, and to add to the novelty, a CD-ROM and metal briefcase were even included in the first edition of the shoe, which retailed for a pricey $200.
